Jillian Moreno, author of Big Girl Knits and the new More Big Girl Knits had to reschedule her measuring class. She will be here on Sunday, May 18th from 1-3pm. Jillian will conduct a hands on measuring class and discussion on body type and style. Join us for this fun afternoon and come away with a great chart of your exact measurements. You will find this skill is great for making alterations, getting measurments of other people you knit for, and making knowledgable decisions about your future knitted garments.
The class fee is $30 and includes a $5 rebate off the purchase of Jillian's new book. Call or drop by the shop to register.

Join us for the Sally Melville experience! Learn from the best at 3 locations. Spend the day and save.
Knit A Round Yarn Shop, The Wool and the Floss, and Artisan Knitworks will be joining forces to bring Sally Melville to our area for three days of creativity, inspiration and knitting. Sally will spend one full day at each shop teaching a total of 6 classes. On Friday, October 5 she will teach Advanced Shaping and Borders and Buttonholes. Saturday the 6th will be classes on Creativity and First Choices/Basic Shapes. Sunday at Knit A Round Sally is teaching Learning to Love Intarsia then Two Colors, Two Hands. Freeform Knitting and Crochet class at Knit A Round

Please join us for a lot of fun and learn a few new stitches and techniques.
We have added a Freeform Knitting & Crochet Class. You must know basic knitting skills, and it would be helpful to know some crochet, but not mandatory. Learn how to make a beautiful bag or shawl with all of your stash leftovers.
The class will be conducted in 3 Monday evening sessions, February 19th, March 5th and March 12th, from 6:00p.m. - 9:00p.m. $60.00 for all 3 sessions.
Bring approximately 10-20 different weights and textures of yarn all in a colorway of your liking. These won't be full balls in most cases, just odds and ends from other projects. Bring appropriate size needles and crochet hooks to accomodate the yarns you bring. We will also supply tidbits of yarn and you can always trade with the group.

We have plenty of Helen�s book on hand or bring your previously purchased copy.
